Now I don't have an exact figure on how much it costs to house an inmate a year in Canada but from looking at different stuff on the net from google most unconfimed posts and shit say about $60 a day. I would be willing to bet Stiff Cliff was at least double that so we can say at least 100 bucks a day. $36k at least a year (please someone correct me if I am wrong as I am really curious as to how much it costs to keep him alive) And keep him alive for what? The second he pleaded guilty to murder they should of hucked him in a tree mulcher and hucked his waste down the sewer.
Canada also has something in its justice system called "the faint hope clause". So he actually by law could of been released (Thankfully our government wasn't stupid enough to relase him but they could of.) Reading some of the comments of the victims parents saying they are relieved that Olson is dead is puzzeling. I can see how they would be relieved but I would be more pissed off they kept him alive for as long as they did.
Fact of the matter is he should of been dead a long time ago and it is just one of the major facts in the system in a country which is suppose to be so great that shows we really aren't. I use WE loosely here so I hope you all get the point. Olson showed no remorse and even claimed to have killed up to 200 Read more on that here So no shame, no remorse, and almost guaranteed to re-offend. Destroyed more lives than just the ones that he killed and society is worried about his human rights. He was an attention seeker in the justice system so much like what Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton are to the entertainment world. Useless and a bunch of shit people with a brain cell want to see gone.
All these other comments and blogs and other shit that you read on the net about hippies saying they are going to be happy or won't be sad because Clifford Olson is dead. Be one of the people with a fucking brain and be pissed off that he wasn't killed immediately in 1982. Something the Canadian legal system fucked everyone of its citizens around by keeping him alive.
So I end this story with this quote "You can put as much sugar as you want on a piece of shit to make it seem as sweet as possible. But underneath the coating is still a piece of shit"
